Jockey Club 'Community Remixing' Music Project ''Escape from Isolation'' Retrospective and Annual Finale Performance

The Jockey Club ‘Community Remixing’ Music Project is coming to its grand finale. In the final year, 20 original songs had been created and will be shown in a series of programs from Jul to Aug 2021.
<Escape from Isolation>
This last short period of time has seen us separated, locked down, isolated and worried about the future.
Separated into boxes by social distancing, zoom screens, local lockdowns, social constraints and even our own emotional state.
When we create, we look out and connect. We look for love, hope and understanding - we don’t talk, we play and sing - we think about our communities and our environment.
We look to a future with love and hope.
The Retrospective:
Date: 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31/7; 1,8/2021 (Sat and Sun)
Venue: CCCD, L205 – 208, Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, 30 Pak Tin Street, Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon
Content:
- Retrospective of project and artworks by the communities (in photos, videos and music)
- Creative Experience and Choir Sharing sessions (At 11a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on every opening day)
- You are also welcomed to get a copy of the community album
The Finale:
Date: 8, 15, 22, 29/8/2021
Time: 3pm
Venue: Facebook Online Livestreaming (@JCMP1821)
Content:
- 20 original songs to be performed in different forms (5 songs per weekend)
